21) Loft Bed with Bookshelf Ladders

Loft Bed With Bookshelf Ladders

This is really a bed for a bookworm! There are shelves for books everywhere! There is a tall shelf on the side of the bed, another bookshelf near the ladder and some more under the bed.

The large bed frame at the top is large and can accommodate a single-sized mattress. The side rails could need improvement though. It can be built taller to make the upper bunk safer. And as most loft bed designs have, the lower bunk is where the action is.

Aside from shelves, you can also place a computer table or study table. Space is still spacious and can still accommodate a chair and more areas to display accessories and knick-knacks. This is an ideal bookshelf for people who live in dormitories where space is a luxury.

22) Another bed with Bookshelf Ladders

Another Bed With Bookshelf Ladders

Sleep in the clouds with this lovely loft bed. The bed is high with a cloud cut out as side rails. The mattress on the top is very comfortable, like a cloud. The child has plenty of room to sleep and play in this loft bed which has a play area at the bottom.

Below the bed is a large space to play and to relax. But it seems like the child that owns this loft bed loves to read books more. A large bookcase is found near the ladder. It’s a bet that there are more shelves at the bottom as well.

You can make this design better by making the side rails taller and the area at the bottom larger with an area mat or a desk for reading instead of just a bean bag.

23) Bohemian Style Loft Bed Design

Bohemian Style Loft Bed Design

This is possibly what it feels to sleep among the clouds. This is a makeshift loft bed design that accommodates a twin bed on top and at the bottom. You can see that both sections look very comfortable with the large and soft cushions, sheer curtains and very soft and large pillows.

Both beds are positioned against a very large window possibly with a lovely view. The only problem is the top bunk has no side rails which may pose as a safety risk. Therefore you can improve on this design by adding side rails to this design.

This Bohemian-style loft design exudes luxury.  The curtains, lights, rugs, and plants make this a comfortable and chic style that you can use as inspiration.

24) The Awesome Loft Bed Plan

The Awesome Loft Bed Plan

This is an exciting loft bed design that’s fit for girls. This two-tier design has the sleeping section on top and features an extra-large large mattress, soft comforter blanket, and large pillows. You can barely tall on the photo that there is a small side rail on the side of the upper level.

The lower level is something that every girl would love. One side of the loft has a large shelf where you can place books and all sorts of items you need. The lower part of the loft has a desk, more shelves, and a computer station.

You can also place a computer chair, a lamp, and some accessories to make this a more awesome place as it is already are. Color is very important in this room. Paint it any color you want. You can also design it any room motif: flowery, pink, sports-like or how about a gamer room?

25) Scandinavian Loft Bed

Scandinavian Loft Bed

This is a loft bed that seems to be floating on air. There is a makeshift step ladder made of shelves which takes you high up the floating loft bed. The bed is so high up in the air and has a very low, almost non-existent side rail. Since the bed has been placed on top of the room, there is so much space at the bottom. You can use this area to study, as a gaming station or as a place to read and just laze out.

This loft bed design is totally modern but you can improve this design as well. You can add a real ladder to move up the top of the loft bed. You may add a computer desk or a study table at the bottom because the area is still very spacious. This is a very easy project and it will not take you an afternoon to complete it.

26) Loft Bed for Everyone

Loft Bed For Everyone

This loft bed is actually a large family-sized bed with a lot of area on top and more sleeping sections at the bottom. The top bunk is so large with only a small mattress to accommodate about two people. This section can be accessed by a tall ladder which is found at the middle of the loft.

The bottom part has a wooden flooring with two single beds on each side of the loft. You can use the bottom section as an area to study, to use the computer or to read. It could use more wooden shelves, a computer table, and a study nook. You can design this area as a family sleeping area or as a recreational area as well.

27) The White Private Loft Bed Design

The White Private Loft Bed Design

This is a loft bed with a private section at the bottom. This has a very modern design that can fit any small apartment or dormitory. The top part of this loft bed can accommodate a single-size to a twin-size mattress.

A very steep ladder at the side of the bed takes you to the top of the loft. Don’t worry about falling this high loft bed because there are high side rails found in the perimeter of the top bunk.

The lower section was specially built with sheer walls and this makes this area perfect for studying, playing computer or reading. Because this area is so private you can close the door to just study in peace.

This is basically a simple design that you can improve. You can paint this according to your favorite color or theme. You can design this into a completely new section too according to your interests.

28) The Scandinavian Sky Lights Loft Design

The Scandinavian Sky Lights Loft Design

This sky loft design is like being in heaven. The loft bed has been set almost near the ceiling and the builder even made it as a part of the design by adding light fixtures at the bottom. A large queen sized bed fits the loft however, there are no side rails. A very high ladder lets you access the area.

At the bottom of this large loft, a very spacious area is available where you can do anything. In this design, a reading area with shelves, an armchair and lights were set up.

This design is a great idea if you live in a small space with high ceilings. The loft bed can be installed on top of a living room, dining area or kitchen and this makes the small room less crowded.

29) Dorm Life Loft Bed

Dorm Life Loft Bed

This loft bed has been transformed into a double-decker bed only the lower bunk has a hammock style. The top bunk is spacious with a single-size mattress. There are side rails to protect from falls and the sides of the loft can be used as a ladder to access the top bed.

The hammock was hung on both sides of the loft bed. It may be too high but a stool lets you climb aboard. The hammock gets a few upgrades like a string of LED lights and sheer curtains.

This loft bed design is a hit among people who live in dormitories because it saves a lot of space. You can enhance this design by adding shelves at the bottom bunk and making the side rails higher at the top bunk as well.

30) Woodsy Theme Loft Bed Plan

Woodsy Theme Loft Bed Plan

Feel like you’re camping in the wilderness with this woodsy theme kids’ loft bed design. The bed is made from hardwood and pallet wood and has two sections where kids can play and sleep.

The top section is for sleeping and a single-size mattress was used along with colorful, mismatched pillows. This section may be accessed by steps that were constructed at the sides of the bed.

The lower part of the loft bed has a door and a small window and inside there are warm glowing lights, pillows and a small rug. Kids can play camping inside and play, eat and sleep here just like camping in the wilderness. You can also use this as a spare room where guests can sleep in should there be a sleepover.
