31) Treehouse Life Loft Bed

Treehouse Life Loft Bed

This loft bed was custom- built like it was a tree house. A tall post that runs through the room is the loft bed’s post/ tree trunk and the weight of the loft bed rests on this tree and possibly a section of the loft is attached to the wall of the room.

The top section is adequate for a single or twin mattress. Tall side rails were set along the perimeter of the top section to prevent falls. The very long ladder takes you to the top of the loft which is several feet from the ground.

All in all, this is a loft bed project that looks great in a room with very high ceilings but has very limited space. It is also a good design to follow if you are into the natural theme. If not, then you can use this as inspiration for better more exciting room and loft bed designs.

32) Loft Bed with a Wall Climbing Wall

Loft Bed With A Wall Climbing Wall

Are you training your child to become a wall climber? If so then this is the bed for him or her. It is a loft bed with the top sleeping area accessible in two ways. The easy way would be to use a traditional ladder and the hard way to use a constructed wall climbing section on the side wall.

Made of solid rocks with irregular shapes, the climbing wall makes it fun to come up the loft bed. No need to use a safety harness or a helmet because the builder made sure that the floors are carpeted and the wall is not too high.

The sleeping section is large and deep with side rails that protect your child as he sleeps or plays. The lower bunk has a makeshift bed from cushions, has a seating area and shelves for toys. Make this as inspiration as you build a loft bed for your kids soon.

33) The Babe Cave

The Babe Cave

This is a loft bed converted into a Babe Cave by the builder. But before going into the design of the bed, take a look at the fine hardwood the bed was made. The material looks perfect and just casts a country feel because of the natural color and beauty of wood.

The top sleeping area was obviously designed for a girl because of the thick pink mattress and bedding. A few black and white pillows connect to the black and white theme of the cave at the bottom of the loft.

The bottom part of the loft bed is large and in fact, has a lot of potentials. But in this design, a makeshift tent was constructed. The tent was made from soft and sheer fabric with an area rug flooring.

But if a cave is not really what you think suits you, you can use this area for study, for gaming or for reading. Large shelves can be put up to keep books, school supplies, and other accessories.

34) Fun For Everyone Loft Bed

Fun For Everyone Loft Bed

Now, this is a loft bed design that can be installed in a dormitory or a small apartment. The loft bed is found on the top and can accommodate a single bed. The top can be accessed by a tall step ladder which can also be used as a seating area. The section below the loft has a built-in swing, a hammock that can be laid out for guests and even a small mattress for more guests.

There is a lot of potential in this room. You can add shelves, table, and chairs, a sofa or a computer table. Make this a fun section of your gaming section by installing a flat screen television and gaming console. This design is very easy to build and it won’t take too long to construct as well.

35) Loft Bed with Stairs

Loft Bed With Stairs

This loft bed has a grand design! Just look at the awesome stairway that leads to the cozy bed above! The cabinetry at the bottom has molding making this truly a luxury bedroom for any girl.

The room was set for a grand loft bed design. Just look at the cabinet drawers to the right and the classy chandelier. The stairs lead to a huge bed that can accommodate two people. Obviously, the entire structure was custom-made because it fits the room very perfectly.

The bottom part of the loft bed has a large area for playing, napping or reading. Extra-large shelves were placed on one wall while a large sofa is at the center of the area filled with mismatched pillows. Truly this is a lovely setting to come home to every day!

But you can improve this by making the living area more functional. Instead of just an area for relaxation, why not turn it into a study area, a place for a computer or a gaming station as well. The possibilities are really endless.

36) Comfortable DIY Loft Bed

Comfortable Diy Loft Bed

This is a space saving bed and a fun place to sleep too. The bed has been built up high to make room for play and study at the bottom. The sleeping section is large and in fact, is larger and wider than the mattress. There are rails on the side as well as the back of the bed while a carpeted stairway takes you up or down the loft bed.

The bottom part of the bed is a huge space to do pretty much anything. The bottom sections of the stairs were used to store toys and dolls. This can also be shelves for books and toys as well.

A large sofa and an oversized ottoman can easily fit the bottom area, therefore, you can easily place some shelves, a computer table, a regular table, and chairs or any bedroom furniture.

37) Starry Night Loft Bed

Starry Night Loft Bed

This loft bed is a bed for a tiny house because it sits on top of a small kitchen. The bed or bedroom is so tiny and it fits inside this small crack. The loft has sky-like ceilings with hundreds of LED lights installed to create that starry sky effect. The bed may be reached by a steep ladder.

The bottom part of the loft bed is a working kitchen. As you can see there are a skin, oven, and shelves to store food, spices and kitchen supplies. There’s not much to improve when it comes to this small space. You must just learn how to adjust to living this small. Luckily the owner thought about using a loft bed design otherwise this small space could become too crowded.

38) Neutral-Colored Loft Bed

Neutral Colored Loft Bed

This is a retro-style loft bed that is color cream and white. The top sleeping area is barely visible from this angle and by looking at the floor area of the bottom of the loft; it looks like it’s very spacious. This section may be accessed by a strong and wide ladder making it safe to climb up or down.

The bottom part of this loft bed has full of potential. From the design, it looks like this is a kid’s room with a study area and a toy kitchen area on the other side of the loft. This structure looks very retro but no doubt strong because of the size and width of its fence.

But even if this has a retro feel you can break away from the style and transform the bottom area into a place for studying, playing video games or reading. You may add shelves, seats, tables and wall shelving at the bottom. All in all, this is a cool design that you can use as inspiration for more modern and versatile loft bed designs.

39) New York City Loft Bed Design

New York City Loft Bed Design

Affordable New York City apartments may even be too small to live in and are very expensive as well. One way to live it up despite a very small space is to use a loft bed design like this. This loft bed is simple yet classy. It has a large bed area at the top which can accommodate a single-size mattress. The bottom part has a lot of potentials.

It can be used as an entertainment area just like in the photo where a large sofa and ottomans can be placed. It can also be converted into a small home office, a study area, a dining section or a space for gaming. The top section has curtains that can cover the side for privacy.

You can paint this loft bed according to the color you wish. You may also use a theme to make this a fun area to look forward to when you come home.

40) Cozy Femme Clutter

Cozy Femme Clutter

They say that a small space is easy to keep but it is easy to clutter as well. This is a loft bed designed to take you out of the clutter of your apartment and let you relax and sleep away. This has a traditional loft bed design with the sleeping area at the top and this one can accommodate a moderate-sized mattress that can accommodate two people.

The lower part of the loft bed can be converted to any kind of space. It can be used as a living room, a TV room, an entertainment area or a small dining space.

There’s so much to improve when you have this very simple design. And since this is a very basic loft bed design, you can make this in just an afternoon.
