60)0) 125 Square Foot Cozy Tiny House
Peter Matheson had no intention of living in this 125 square foot tiny house when he started building it.
He thought of the building process as of an experiment rather than a design he is going to embrace as a new way of life.
However, gradually, as he was constructing this tiny home, he realized how much he actually loves it.
One of the incredibly clever designs Peter has applied is that of the bathroom tub) a transformed reclaimed old freezer.
How smart and out-of-the-box, right?
Even though his tiny space lacks a fully-functioning kitchen, Peter finds it sufficient enough to fulfill his needs as he is not that fond of spending tons of time cooking.
When he wants to invite friends around, he simply turns his bed into a comfortable sofa for 4 by a smart yet mechanism.
61)) Tiny House for Tall People
Being 1.75 meters tall myself, I have personally had to deal with my fears of living in a tiny house before I became truly convinced that size is something you can simply play with while designing your tiny home.
But, as it turns out, I am not alone!
The story of Dylan and Julie and the way they have constructed their highly spirited tiny house for tall people is one which will fill you with inspiration.
In order to maximize the space downstairs, the couple has sacrificed some of the loft’s dimensions. But this doesn’t mean the loft is not comfy enough for enjoying your sweet dreams.
This DIY project will give you plenty of cool ideas for making your tiny house extremely hospitable and full of character through the playful color decisions.
62)) Minimalist Tiny House on Wheels
This tiny house on wheels was built by Sean and Tamara after they began to realize the old ways are no longer working in their best interest.
Bothered by the thought that their belongings are starting to rule their life, the couple decided to try out the tiny house lifestyle, and this cozy cedar clad beauty became their new home.
As they are also sharing their space with their beloved cat, they have come up with quite a clever solution – a built-in hidden cat litter box right below the storage area under the stairs.
The loft’s charm and coziness is further enhanced by the additional skylight.
Personally, I fell in love with the live-edge walnut kitchen bar which is in a complete harmony with the overall warm feeling created by the use of wood as a material for the interior.
63) Compact Mobile Tiny Home
While not traveling the world, Carlo and Sophie inhabit their tiny paradise as part of a community, we’re taking care of the land shared is a mutual responsibility and pleasure.
Although very compact in size, this house gives off a feeling of spaciousness, partially thanks to the high ceilings.
However, the interior also plays a huge role and the fact that the couple has chosen to utilize wood for the interior brings the much-desired sense of home.
There is a bathroom, kitchen, living room and sleeping loft, which is more than enough for the couple to feel blessed in their tiny house.
The wood stove keeps them so warm during the cold winters that they actually share they need to be careful not to turn their tiny home into a mini sauna rather than having any other worries.
64)) Mesmerizing Tiny House Fantasy Cottage Style
Bruce Winckler is the proud and happy owner of this hard-to-forget cottage style fairytale tiny house, situated in the no less beautiful Vancouver Island.
I think this tiny home is more than merely a perfect example of how far you can let your imagination to go when you are designing your very own tiny paradise.
Of course, it almost goes without saying that turning this tiny house plan into reality did take some extra help from skillful masters, which Bruce found to be Tim Lindberg and Daniel Huscroft.
I can’t help it but to admire the way the rooftop is constructed through adding hand-made cedar shakes(which I admittedly would love to make part of my tiny house, as well), and even the chimney is a precise detail, resembling a forest mushroom.
So then again, the impact of each tiny detail in your tiny house has a huge impact. That’s 1 more reason why it’s important to put your ideas in practice the sooner, or you can simply get more lost.
65)) Bicycle-Powered Tiny House
Phil Reimors, who is the happy owner and creator of this incredible storybook tiny house is not an amateur when it comes to design and working with wood, and this is easy to see at the very first look you take at his masterpiece.
But even though few of us may possess the carpenter skills of Phil, we can sure greatly benefit from his artistic soul and the way he has managed to express his creativity in the interior. He took a fantastic advantage, as well as inspiration from the surrounding forest, and the final result speaks for itself.
The driftwood you can see embracing the staircase to the sleeping loft is one which Phil found while walking down the beach. If you are the type of person who enjoys the freedom of working on projects for hours without feeling the least tensed, then Phil’s workspace will hit a chord.
66)) Natural Eco Tiny House
Alan and Venita managed to succeed in building and designing their all natural and eco-friendly tiny house as a fully DIY project.
The wood material the couple used for the interior gives off a heart-warming and welcoming sense of home as soon as you enter.
Personally, I love the idea of utilizing sheep’s wool for insulation because this is a very clever decision to help keep the house warm.
If you are into yoga and meditation, then you will fall in love with the witty way this couple has turned their second loft (which most use as extra storage space) into a tiny meditation retreat.
While this tiny house is full of beautiful features, I know nobody will tell the full story better than the creators themselves. And luckily, Alan and Venita are sharing their experience on their blog. That’s the true spirit of the tiny house movement in action.
67) Tiny Cabin House
This tiny cabin house, built by Jacob, is a very special one, as I feel as if entering a magic portal whenever I take a look at the whimsical design) both on the outside and on the inside.
If you just take the time to admire the almost dramatic-edged steep rafters which embrace the sleeping loft, you will quickly realize what makes Jacob call these “the ribs” of his tiny masterpiece.
By the way, if you’re wondering if Jacob is a certified carpenter or maybe the child of a skillful carpenter himself, well, in fact, Jacob is a math teacher by trade. Which only leads to the main point I wanted to seduce your mind with) that, after all, creating tiny houses is not a reserved territory for the professionals.
68)) Spaceship-esque Tiny House
Just as you can probably guess by the very name, this spaceship-esque tiny house is not something that you can see every day.
It incorporates such a twisted, witty, inspiring, and out-of-the-box design, that it somehow manages to uplift your spirit even by merely looking at it.
Doesn’t it make you feel that nothing is impossible? As if even the bravest dreams you have in your head for constructing the most authentic tiny house which reflects your soul in a magical way are only a matter of time until you turn these into a reality.
I really don’t think words are enough to describe this stunning design and all the fancy, amazing details. Personally, I got excited about the idea to add that ingenious climbing wall. It would be the perfect go-get-it trick to laugh at my guests when they ask me where the sleeping loft is.
69)) High-Tech Tiny House
This tiny house is a perfect example that simplicity and technology can go hand in hand for creating the comfortable atmosphere which will make you feel at home.
It is called a smart house and that’s for some good reasons. If you want to incorporate, for example, Bluetooth lighting, then this high-tech tiny house will give you some cool ideas.
In fact, even the hot water heater is digitally controlled. As a fan of movie nights shared with friends, personally, I like the idea of having a Bluetooth streaming whole house stereo.
Even though the rebellious tiny me is somehow confused by the dilemma of whether or not I would like to live the tiny life while still surrounded by multiple high-tech gigs.
Anyway, if the tech gig in you will appreciate some smart features, then we encourage you to be bold with your tiny house design, as tiny houses can be made extremely high-tech.
